Ich reise schon seit etlichen Jahren gerne, mag es fremde Länder zu erkunden und in andere Kulturen einzutauchen. Zu dieser Leidenschaft war gleichzeitig mein Interesse für die Fotografie geboren, denn ich mag es seit jeher Fotos von allem zu machen, was mich inspiriert oder einfach meinem Auge gefällt. Obwohl ich vor Jahen auch immer mal wieder zum Handy gegriffen habe, um ein schnelles Foto zu machen, war ich nie wirklich von der Qualität der mobilen Bilder überzeugt. Inzwischen hat sich aber einiges bei der Technik getan und mein Smartphone ist eine ernst zunehmende Alternative zu meiner Kamera für den schnellen Snapshot zwischendurch geworden.
